NetErgonomics® (formerly OccuCom®) was established in 1991 to develop a holistic approach to wellness in the workplace through applied ergonomics in solving the simplest to the most complex work environment needs of your company. It is now accepted in both the scientific and business communities that comprehensive health promotion (wellness) and good ergonomics make good economics
Our goal is to assist companies who want to save resources by investing in healthier employees and healthier workplaces rather than divesting them into health care costs and workers' compensation premiums. The Occupational Health and Safety Communication Surveillance and Training System (OccuCom System), has helped clients from the private and public sectors of business in all workplace settings, such as in manufacturing, office and technical, transportation, hospitality and health care environments.
About Us
Our staff consists of a multidisciplinary group of health educators and safety management individuals with multiple years of experience in the prevention of injury and illness in the context of health promotion (wellness) and applied ergonomics.
Chuck Sherrod, DC, MPH, CIE
As the President and Founder of NetErgonomics®, Dr. Sherrod had a vision to start a company that focused on preventative and proactive health services with the domain expertise in the health promotion or wellness and ergonomics fields, by making it available and affordable to all workplace settings with the most recently researched assessment and intervention modalities. Barry Roland, DC, CEAS -

Shawn Sherrod, AS, CEAS
As our Senior Ergonomics and Safety Management Specialist for the last twelve years, Shawn Sherrod's experience and skill sets have driven a zero-injury workplace record with many clients both large (e.g., Mervyn's, Chaminade, Samtrans/Caltrain, Amtrak) and small (e.g., Postini, Bay Cities Credit Unions, InterWest Insurance). Dan Holley, PhD
Dr. Holley has been our Director of Research and Development for over ten years, and most importantly, he spearheaded NIOSH/NORA and SBIR grant proposals for El Camino Hospital and Chaminade. He teaches graduate physiology at San Jose State University, collaborates at NASA on various projects, as well as publishes in myriad peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Pamela Moore, MBA, CEAS
Ms. Moore is the Vice-President of Business Development. She has an extensive background in ergonomic office furniture and ergonomic accessories.
